Students in the program may work towards certificates in Accounting and Management Accounting. These certificate programs are designed to supplement a liberal arts or sciences major, and prepare students for careers in accounting, business and government. The combined benefits of a liberal arts or science major and an accounting certificate provide students with increased opportunities for employment and promotion, as well as for acceptance in graduate school and professional programs.
